      Don't see the reason to call his flop raise if you are not planning to cotinue with your hand (or are you scared of flush). I'd let the fish bet and call him down.

      Don't really get your donk on the flop? Check it and let him CB or continue with worse. Though otherwise not much to comment.

      I donked the flop for value because I assumed he was going to play very straightforward as an aggressor and passive postflop. But very likely to call down far too loosely

      This is wrong?

      Well, you have to fold very often if he raises though he could do that even with weaker hands. Also you don't really know either he is going to CB or not, he might easily just CB and you may gain value from his CB there.
