Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

      BB: $45.13 (90.3 bb)
      MP: $50 (100 bb)
      Hero (CO): $50 (100 bb)
      BTN: $54.22 (108.4 bb)
      SB: $53.90 (107.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8 9
MP folds, Hero raises to $1.50, 2 folds, BB calls $1

      Flop: ($3.25) 8 7 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.25, BB calls $2.25

      Turn: ($7.75) A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $5, BB calls $5

      River: ($17.75) 4 (2 players)
      BB bets $9, Hero ???

      Anon table.

BB was a big fish. Plan was to bet/fold turn, checkback river.
River? 65 got there, or if he spiked turn Ace somehow, and wants to avoid checkbehind, but most of the draws missed. On the other hand he bet halfpot, maybe rather for value, but I dont have any kind of betsizing tell on him.
Grindcore said in Thin Red Line: If the EV of calling and folding river doesnt differ much, it's better to call, and we gain reads as well at showdown.
I dont think there is a huge difference here. He could have T9/JT/X:cX the same as 65s/AJo...

      Hello pcfmcc02,

Well, I'd be towards rather just leaving the hand alone cause I doubt that we going to face that often missed draws there. The fish has tons of Ax hands which he is floating that way so rather seems like Ax hand which bets for thin value. We don't get much reads with it anyways. :D

      Best Regards.
