PKR, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      CO: $8.56 (85.6 bb)
      BTN: $14.64 (146.4 bb)
      SB: $10.40 (104 bb)
      BB: $10.74 (107.4 bb)
      UTG: $10 (100 bb)
      Hero (MP): $10.02 (100.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K A
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.40, 3 folds, BB calls $0.30

      Flop: ($0.85) 4 5 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.50, BB calls $0.50

      Turn: ($1.85) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.25, BB calls $1.25

      River: ($4.35) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3, BB calls $3

I bet the flop for value as I see myself ahead of his overall range-he might still continue w AQ,AJ,KQ. On the flop I bet as a bluff to try to get him off 66-TT (if he in not c/raing them on the flop).I bet the river with the same purpose. How would you play it?

Cbet giveup unimproved vs unknown. :f_cry:

      cbetting is actually pretty close.

you are never going to make ANY better hand to fold on this flop and we might be able to check it down against other high card hands.
on the other hand, there may be some thin value against other A highs and we buy ourselves a river card. he is never going to call your cbet with KQ unless he is super bad.

so i'd pick one between c/f it down and cbet once and give up depending on my feelings at the time. :f_biggrin:

of course if you 2nd barrel you should definitely also follow with a 3rd barrel since it's very likely that he won't be folding any pair to your turn bet. but all in all you rep pretty narrow and i'm just not really a huge fan of the hand plan against an unknown.
