Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      MP: $63.57 (127.1 bb)
      Hero (CO): $59.89 (119.8 bb)
      BTN: $67.87 (135.7 bb)
      SB: $80.02 (160 bb)
      BB: $50 (100 bb)
      UTG: $50.98 (102 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8 8
UTG folds, MP raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, 3 folds

      Flop: ($3.75) 7 3 3 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $2, MP calls $2

      Turn: ($7.75) Q (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $5, MP calls $5

      River: ($17.75) 5 (2 players)

      Anon table.

MP is a reg. Standard turn bet, or rather checkback for potcontroll, and ch/fold river?

i wouldn't fold. if i checked turn im calling river unless i'm very sure he never turns anything into a bluff.

Not out of the question for him to c/c Flop with Ak and then bluff River to rep the Queen, unless you had a really strong read about his tendencies.

I think betting Turn again for thinvalue and protection is certainly fine. A 7 is not folding and you may get value from Ace high as well.

      Hello pcfmcc02,

nah, pretty standard 2nd barreling spot and also avoiding him betting big the river. :P Well played and might even get value from worse as even Ace high.

      Best Regards.
