Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      MP: $34.55 (69.1 bb)
      CO: $54.27 (108.5 bb)
      BTN: $57.35 (114.7 bb)
      SB: $113.51 (227 bb)
      BB: $113.94 (227.9 bb)
      Hero (UTG): $72.18 (144.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A T
Hero raises to $2, MP calls $1.75, 2 folds, SB calls $1.75, BB folds

      Flop: ($6.50) Q 9 8 (3 players)
SB bets $4, Hero calls $4, MP folds

      Turn: ($14.50) 7 (2 players)
      SB bets $9, Hero folds

MP is a huge fish, 84/29.

I dont think that his donkbet 3way, with such a big fish on the pot would be very light, so I only called.
On the turn I dont really have good implied odds, so I folded.

even if your implied odds are poor you are getting decent direct odds and you have a straight draw as well. Definitely cannot be folding here. You have bluff outs as well (you could bluff a T to rep the Jack).

You are also assuming he always has a made hand here which is not the case. He can be semibluffing with a worse draw and that would make your fold a massive mistake

      Hello pcfmcc02,

Should still be able to Call the turn for the given reason that he is rather not winning that many showdowns. Which means that he is most likely willing to pay us well us once we hit. Maybe even Ace is an out.

Though of course folding isn't anything to be ashamed either. :D

      Best Regards.
