Gave up flop cause I figured his 3bet call range was going to continue here anyway. Or should have cbetted?

While it is true that BB is still to act and I wouldn't like it either to squeeze or call behind, I am still 3betting in that spot mainly because I think I am doing it for value. So I am mostly c-betting there, hoping him to fold pps that missed their set-mining, or call with AJs+.

If going for the check line, it needs to be clear why we are checking. If we think he will always bet when checked to him with any AJ/AQ, KQ and he is pretty aggro with any hand he stays in position, then it could be a check with intention of calling down.

(However, if it is because you think you are already beat, I find it hard to 3bet preflop... :f_confused: Interested to see what the hand judge says. I always find it hard to play AK in this spot, lol )

      Hello faronel,

Seems to be fine as long his 3bet-calling range most likely going to be strong. Well played!

      Best Regards.
