I'm quite new in playing poker so I'll try to get as much advice as possible.

Preflop I raised and hit the set on the flop, but there was also possible flush draw for somebody. So I raised again on the flop. On the turn flush was possible so I folded.

This was probably the bad decision, I should have probably raised again and if I get re-raised than fold.
But what if I get called, should I raise again on the river or just check and give the initiative?

      Hi Crixus26,

      Preflop is fine.

Flop I'd bet bigger to get more value and protection. 40 something is better.

Turn the spot sucks but because of the preflop action (I can't really put AJ/AQ in his range) I don't have check-folding and I think it's safe to play it this way. We might end up folding the best hand from time to time but we also avoid getting stacked a lot of the time.

Vs this bet I would call and try to hit my full house since this guy is also going to give me the rest of the stack when I hit and he has the flush.

      Best regards.
