      Yeah, one could ask: if you choose to check the flop, why not checking the turn? Yeah, this is a mistake imo.
      Anyways, what are your thougts?

      bet/bet/bet until you get raised, for value from AQ/AJ/etc.

      as played bet the turn a bit smaller and fold, as you just got raised. :f_biggrin:
      this whole c/c thing sucks because you are turning your hand into a bluffcatcher and it's somewhat insane for them to bluff barrel this board being 3way, so if you keep check/calling down you might even have to fold the river.

      And they look passive aswell, so hard to induce bluffs. And as you have said, multiway.

      But as played, would you consider folding river? BB check.raise looks pretty strong, but we have TPTK.

      folding river? you mean folding turn? :P
      the "rule of thumb" is that turn check/(min)raises have one pair beat. :f_biggrin:

      what really sucks in your spot is that you kinda commited yourself with your turn sizing, so as played it's tough to fold.
      you need 235/1032 = ~23% equity not considering rake:

      Board: A:club: 3:heart: 8:diamond:  4:club:
             Equity     Win     Tie
      UTG    22.59%   3.84%  18.75% { AhKd }
      MP2    77.41%  58.66%  18.75% { 88, 33, AKs, A8s, A3s, Ad4d, AKo }

      considering that he may also be feeling commited and spaz out with AQ- every once in a while, as played you have to cry call. ;(

      buuuut you shouldn't have been in that spot to begin with.
      just bet flop yourself etc, as played if you bet smaller on the turn you also would have a much easier time folding.

      I have to bet flop, because in a multiway pot, thinning out the numbers is top priority with "only" top pair.They could have many outs to 2p etc.
