      Hi,

cbet flop OK? I guess the bet is mainly for bluff prevention and maybe to get some small pockets to fold.
giving up on the turn OK? Turn card is not scary for any pocket pair.
hero calling river OK? I expected him to bet TT+ type of hands on the turn, didn't expect him to make a thin vbet w/ 77-.

      Hello HughJazz82,

Preflop: Being OOP and even vs his stack which is most likely a bad player I'd 3bet it bigger for value.

      As played
Postflop: CB once & done ain't gonna end up a profit for you. You are just going to waste the money into the player cause he is very likely to float vs you. You either go also for 2nd barrel or you Check/Fold the flop right away.

Nor you can't discount TT type of holdings Bet the turn always, especially if he is passive he could also take pot control line. Instead you could just invest the money into 2nd barreling and would have bigger success and avoid hero-calling like that.

      Best Regards.
