      River: ($39.75) A (2 players)
      CO checks, Hero ?

Villain is TAG and folds to 3bets 78% so I will try to abuse him as much as possible. He plays 24/19/6.1 AF=3, WTSD 29, W$SD 50, 230 hands

I don't bet the flop because I don't think any pair will fold to one bet and my hand can't take much pressure. Once he checks twice I bet to protect against overs, may even get a call from overs and free showdown. When he raises it's either something nutted, but since my hand looks so much like AQ-AK, he's probably trying to push me away. I think he will just check-call with a pair. He has a decent level of aggression for me to consider he is trying to push me away with that raise.
So I call hoping for no broadways on the river. Is there anything I can do once that A falls? For him to fold the A he must have a realy bad A and put me on AK-AQ exactly. Nothing else that beats me is folding.

      Hello circoflax,

Still I don't like the idea of giving him a free card. What's your plan on the turn if he bets? :P Rather bet it yourself and could easily Check behind and receive a free card for river.

As played doubt that he is folding to the ace whilst the guy would just use the Ace himself as a scare-card. ;) So rather just lets you to bluff with it.

      Best Regards.
