Hero raises to $1.50, MP folds, CO calls $1.50, BTN folds, SB calls $1.25, BB folds

      Flop: ($5) A 8 9 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.75, CO raises to $13.25, 2 folds

      Villain is TAG 18/14/6.3/ AF 3.8/ 1k hands/ raise CB 16%
      SB is a 46/11 fish.
Always give it up in a spot like this? It's pretty bad since it's 3 way with a fish in the pot and I'm OOP. I think he may have a set a lot of the time, so I think I can stack him off real nice if I call and bink. My real problem is if he has the FD, cause I think he's betting the turn again.

Suppose I'm in position, could I afford to make the call?

bet/fold is best. your draw is so weak, you draw to bottom end of straight, there is a flush draw on flop, and board can easily pair later on.

      Hello circoflax,

Don't really see how you could Call here and don't see how you could end up with profit with such a call. His raise ain't even small or anything, therefore standard Bet/Fold.

Though I'd recommend taking a look in first place how profitable are you playing even those SC type of hands from UTG.

      Best Regards.
