villain is unknown and seems fishy over 17 hands, mainly calling preflop and not much more to say after he limp/calls UTG. i thought it was a great flop to Cbet since i have the FD and 2 overs. not sure how i feel about this now though.. i doubt i have much fold equity, and i also doubt im a huge favourite against his going broke range..

It's a half pot size bet so your odds are ok, but I'd fold here against unknown postflop. He could be as fishy as reraising an 8 here, and you don't want to sit on your draw only in my opinion. He'll give you some money later.

clearly fold, could continue with A maybe

cbetting is actually pretty close because in reality this flop sucks being oop without drawing to the nuts.
he will not fold anything with a club, not folding trash with hits a pair, not folding a ton of straightdraws and gutshots - but the main problem is that you can't feel good about your hand even if you hit any of your outs. being oop this can get sick.

I'd rather ch/fold this flop, pretty bad for cbetting in the first place, plus we have reverse implied odds with the K...

thanks for your thoughts. i thought it could be good to cbet and barrel at the time, but when i went over it afterwards i thought it was best to check/fold. OOP SUCKS!

      Hello DrDunne,

If you assume he is super-loose then it's still possible to CB cause he clearly may even call with weaker FDs which is good for us. We also have decent against that range. Though it would be better to do it with A.

Afterwards we get raised we clearly have to fold our hand, we can't really continue there. :P

      Best Regards.
