Villain is a solid player here. First he limped from early position, then called my raise preflop. I was guessing he had a pocket pair. Did I play this hand good?

I would have found it hard folding this here. I can see villain doing this on maybe JJ or TT or maybe 99 on these limits. I doubt he had KK or AA because i see him 3betting these preflop. And not many 2s in his range so i think you are ahead i would call

      hi Crixus26,

I highly doubt that any player would play limp/call from UTG so I'd treat him like a fish and call his x/shove on the turn as he is likely to have fd type hand.

He is likely to x/raise 2x on the flop imo.

Also I like your bet sizing on the flop on higher limits but here I think you can make it 20 cents and still be called by the same range, only difference is that you gain more value.

      Best regards.
