He's so f__kin aggressive, he keeps raising and betting like a maniac. I see myself enough times with Ah against this hyperloose aggressive money.

      Hello Imimba1,

Don't like it, don't like it at all. Clear proof how you can be very tilty and totally overplay your hand. Just Call the flop if he gives you that good odds and reevaluate turn.

      Best Regards.

He had 87, and got stacked.
I had the thought all along: Just because I miss, it doesnt mean that he has me beat. If someone is a loose maniac, I should be enough of times with A-high. Pocket pairs are small part of his range, so he can miss as many times as me, but I have the best non-pair hand: A-high.

I guess the problem is, that he raises so loose, that his limp/calling range has many small cards, and this board has 4 of them. So we could say, that I got f_ckin lucky that he missed with his two small cards?

You were a bit lucky there :) ) Against maniacs like that you should tighten your opening range and play only value hands aggressive and otherwise take the calling/folding mode.

      iso preflop is fine.
call flop, i wouldn't raise as we don't have any bdfd/sd cards to barrel.
if we raise, i would raise smaller, and then fold to his 3bet.
as played, on turn we have no fold equity, and don't see any other option but to fold.

be careful about being too results oriented. sure in this case you won the hand, but i would imagine villain's range consisting of lots of 9x/6x/A2 hands here even, as 87 is really the only draw on the flop.

I don't really care what he had, I care what's the point of the move and how often we are going to be ahead. You can't just be result oriented, either you win the hand or lose. Cause clearly you will more often face here hands which have you beat.
