PKR, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      CO: $29.45 (117.8 bb)
      BTN: $27.83 (111.3 bb)
      SB: $21.24 (85 bb)
      Hero (BB): $27.79 (111.2 bb)
      UTG: $17.99 (72 bb)
      MP: $67.26 (269 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A K
2 folds, CO raises to $0.85, BTN calls $0.85, SB folds, Hero raises to $3.80, CO calls $2.95, BTN folds

      Flop: ($8.55) 8 T T (2 players)
Hero bets $5, CO calls $5

      Turn: ($18.55) Q (2 players)
Hero bets $18.99 and is all-in, CO calls $18.99

      River: ($56.53) 3 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      $56.53 pot ($2.82 rake)
      Final Board: 8 T T Q 3
      CO showed 5 Q and won $53.71 ($25.92 net)
Hero showed A K and lost (-$27.79 net)

By betting the turn I can probably make him fold 99,JJ and that's pretty much it. Is there a point in the shove? Will a smaller bet do the job, what if he shoves over it? Is c/f turn too weak?

Not the best flop for us to cbet, cant really represent much, and will be floated a lot (PPs which is a big part of his range, 98s/87s/J9s, random broadways, Ax, Txs).

We can barrel A/K/Q/J turns, but against unknown we dont know how much fold equity we even got, Q/J could easily hit his floating range as well, plus stack-to-pot ratio is quite awkward by the turn.

      So I'd consider ch/folding flop.

      Hello jozata,

As said above rather Check/Fold the flop right away cause major of his calling range is going to be PPs which you ain't making to fold that easily.

Though if you go for a CB then should do like 1/2 on the flop and according to that also smaller on the turn by of course planning to Bet/Fold it. :) Though of course the turn-card isn't the best for us whilst there ain't that many hands which he folds.

      Best Regards.
