      Well, I don't think c/r the flop makes any sense if you aren't going to follow up on the turn with at least a 2/3 psb. So just go for a standard cbet on the flop, and take it from there.

      Since you c/r the flop, you should raise to $2, not $1.25, since his bet is very weak, and you want him to fold, not call. Then, since you say he is LAG, and he doesn't have to have a hand to call, you will be forced to make second barrel on the turn of about 3.5 to 4, and you are committing most of your stack, so will be in no position to fold anymore. If you can beat this guy with Ace high, go ahead and play this way.
