      Have you checked out HM2 or PT4? Both have free trials, and really it comes down to which one you prefer. they have a lot of similar features. But are great for tracking your own play, reviewing hands, stats, spotting leaks, using the HUD, etc.

      i'm a micro cash player, and i use Leakbuster, and Notecaddy. both are pretty great for cash games.

      If you don't have one, i'd recommend downloading an equity calculator. there are some free ones out there like Pokerstove, and Equilab. i have one that i got with Ace poker drills that is pretty cool, but has some more advanced features.

      There are some more advanced tools out there once you get your feet wet, but might be better to start with the basics.
