Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      BTN: $6.01 (300.5 bb)
      SB: $2.76 (138 bb)
      BB: $2.46 (123 bb)
      Hero (UTG): $4.38 (219 bb)
      MP: $2.63 (131.5 bb)
      CO: $2 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q A
Hero raises to $0.06, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.06, SB folds, BB calls $0.04

      Flop: ($0.19) 9 4 J (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

      Turn: ($0.19) Q (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.12, BTN raises to $0.38, BB folds, Hero calls $0.26

      River: ($0.95) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.58, Hero folds

      Results:
      $0.95 pot ($0.03 rake)
      Final Board: 9 4 J Q 3
BTN mucked and won $0.92 ($0.48 net)
Hero mucked Q A and lost (-$0.44 net)

Flop: Didn't want to mess around with 2 other players even though I had initiative and also 2 overcards.

Turn: I bet to protect against many straight & flush draws that the Qc might give. When I get raised, I don't necessary think I'm beat as Villain's range still contains lots of semi-bluffs like FD or QT, KQ and even AQ together with his 2 pairs and also KT which beaat me. Thus I called to re-evaluate on the River.

River: If a blank would have come, I wouldn't mind calling his bet size there.

As played, is my thought process okay?

      Hello cheekopeh,

Preflop: 4bb raise, would recommend reading articles. :)
Postflop: Bet/Fold the turn and bet it a bit bigger. We ain't going to be far-far ahead there and nor wont be able to call a lot of rivers.

      Best Regards.
