What is the purpose of the flop bet? It seems small if it is for protection. If it is for value it seems a bit dangerous as you don't want any more diamonds coming on the turn...
I think a c/r might show more strength and possible get the opponent to fold... if that is what we want. Otherwise if the villain gives us good odds, it might be worth it to c/c hoping to pair the board...

As played, the double barrel and call down on the river seem fine. Villain could easily have a range like AJ, KJ with a diamond, as well as many over pairs. I just think we'd get more information earlier for cheaper with a flop c/r.

      Hey malcolmlinco,

Let me ask you a few questions:
      1. What is the purpose of the donk?
      2. What is the plan if you get raised?
Your line is doable and it is not wrong, but then you have to bet it bigger and be sure that he is aggro enough that he bets river with a busted flushdraw if you decide to X/C river. Another pattern would be same that your signature offers.
How often does he Cbet IP? I think he is gonna Cbet this board often enough since his BTN range is gonna be wide and he people overall missunderstand texture of boards. So I would consider going for a X/R so I can protect my hand and also get value from a lot of hands. Overall my play would depend how I saw him.

      Best regards,
