      BTN: $49.91 (99.8 bb)
      SB: $58.51 (117 bb)
      Hero (BB): $124.97 (249.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J J
CO raises to $1, 2 folds, Hero raises to $4.50, CO calls $3.50

      Flop: ($9.25) 4 8 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $5, CO calls $5

      Turn: ($19.25) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $9, CO calls $9

      River: ($37.25) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $18.50, Hero folds

      Anon table.

I had only a couple of hands on Villain, but looked fishy so far.

Turn bet is already marginal, but maybe he could call with weaker sometimes (8x/99/TT/T9 mainly), but I dont think he would bluff or bet weaker too often on the river if I check, so I ch/folded.

Check fold turn not even close
Ur equity on turn against his flop calling range shuld be below 50% and his turn betting range crushes urs. I cf aa too since its relative hand strength is almost the same

is it a little bit tight to just check fold turn?

what should we put him on after his calling otf?

      i think there r still a lot 99 TT KdQd AdQd 9Ts
even i put 44,55,66,77,88 in (which i dunt think there r too many such hands in a 3bet calling range)

      JJ seems still good...
      any suggestions?

      Hello pcfmcc02,

We don't need exactly 50% to make it profitable for us on the turn. Whilst we may also assume he may have even something like 98s/T9s type of holdings in his range, I'd be willing to 2nd barrel the turn and do it mainly by planning to Check/Fold the river.

      Best Regards.
