Villain was 33/7 (but I had only 33 hands on him, so I counted him as a std TAG)

His call preflop made me put him on AQ-A10 or some broadways.
He calls the flop and I am quite sure he holds an Ace.
On the turn I am almost certain he has A with a good kicker.
His bet on the river makes me believe he has the J, and I really wanna fold, but the odds are 1:5,35 and I feel I have to call on such a good price.

Should I fold in such situations? ?(

why not cbet flop smaller, around $1.4, to induce bluffs/spew? then we can have easy 1/2 pot turn/river bets.

as played, villain's hand seems a lot like AJ. however, villain can certainly be confused in this spot with AQ/AT/random pairs and the odds we get seemingly make it a crying call and then just make a note.

I just thought I wanted to extract as much value as possible with TPTK and therefore do 2/3 bets to make the pot bigger. :s_grin:

If he's paying off w TP, you can jam the turn to avoid tough spots on river. We are going to ship it in anyway, no matter what river.

      Hello ChewbroCColi,

If you are picking those bet sizes then rather just jam the turn. :P If he has the Ace he is going to Call. Though I do agree that in 3bet pot we want to make it a bit smaller the bet sizes to invite some weaker Ax hands along.

As played practically he is representing rather made hands mainly there which might be even stronger. Doubt that he is just donking this way into us with AQ/AT. Though if we are able to fold? Especially if he is loose-type of player will be difficult.

      Best Regards.
