      SB: $10.51 (105.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K K
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, 2 folds, BB calls $0.20

      Flop: ($0.65) 3 J 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.50, BB calls $0.50

      Turn: ($1.65) A (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero???

Hello, preflop I only raise 3BB in CO as I like my range to be quite wide (is this ok or should I stick to 4BB). Anyways I bet the flop a decent size. I could have bet bigger for sure but heads up and the board not being super wet I wanted to keep some hands in. I find this turn to be quite tricky because I still want to get value from any draws, then again I'm way behind if villain has an ace and he is probably not calling with worse hands like 9x, Jx or pocket pairs. I think on balance a check behind might be the best bet. If I check behind how big a bet can I call with if at all?

      Thanks

i would bet/fold turn. lots of sds/fds/pair +fd/Jx hands that check call turn. i would rather bet then check back and be faced with a tough river decision

      Hi,

betting is usually better than checking since there are so many draws that you need to protect against- also you´re very likely betting your air as bluff, so you should balance out also betting your medium strength hands

      best regards,
