      Hey veriz,

      Is it good to shove most of hands over a 3bet of him untill I see that he calls me lighter?

      Stats:
      421 hands
      26% resteal in SB (18% vs hero)
      Foldot4bet 2/4
      W$SD 60%

      With such a high 3bet% and w$sd I thought he would fold a ton of hands.

      From his stacksize it looks like this opponent is a midstackplayer.
      They can go broke looser because of their small stack.

      (If he isn't i wouldn't 4Bbluff him at all since you will get his stack often enough with value hands.)

      Bevor 4B bluffing such a player i would exploit him in other ways.

      1. The first thing would be a minraise steal as you did, since he will still fold 75% of his hands.

      2. Since such player have pretty static ranges you can analyse his play after having a lot of hands against him, the more the better.
      Just look how loose he goes broke in such situations and prepare a range with which you can 4B shove for value.

      With enough hands you can even find out how loose he goes broke in every position.
      Just doing this two things once will make it very easy to play against him.
      If he adapts you can still change things up.

      3. If this isn't enough you can start to call him in position with hands which are just below your 4Bshove range since they will still be ahead against his 3B range.

      Such players are not very good postflop, so you should be able to play well against him postflop after figuring out how he plays. Again you should just look in your database how he plays since he will often do the same things.

      for 40bb it's pretty close but against 45bb+ i like to 4bet/fold $4 in that spot, they don't like it when we don't ship over and we actually get folds quite often. :f_biggrin:

      even for 40bb 4bet/fold may be playable, depending on how wide we think his ranges and value range is, let's say his value range is this

             Equity     Win     Tie
      UTG    70.41%  70.01%   0.40% { TT+, ATs+, KQs, AJo+, KQo }
      UTG+1  29.59%  29.18%   0.40% { JTo }

      can still fold there

      id be much more inclined to 4bet small or just click it back like tomaloc said. don't see many mid/short stackers 5bet bluffing vs small 4bets

      Allright so vs MSS players we should always 4bet to a very small amount with our whole 4bet range :)

      Hello Farmarchist,

      Min-raise something to $4 will have the same affect on him, he folds all worse and continues strong hands. Therefore no need to shove it there.

      Also what you need to pay attention on is if he is always 3betting it to $2 and if he doesn't then might clearly have a leak.

      Best Regards.
