well he looks nitty so far ;)

So, what about the flop? I think this is a flop where people won't slowplay so I bet to take up the pot.

He calls and I think he could have a pocket pair or FD so I bet turn.

      What is best here?

i like to just give up and hope A high good, our checking down equity is probably not too good but fine enough. :f_biggrin:

else i think this can be a float 3barrel spot, he doesn't have the nuts. :f_biggrin:

It's just 50 hands, rather 3bet preflop BTN vs CO.

3bet pre or just bet/bet/bet when checked to. i feel like once he check/calls flop he is almost always check/calling the turn, and therefore we should either give up turn or bet turn and river

      I thought:

      1) If he had a FD or SD, I win a good percentage of the time with AK high
      2) If he has like 9J he can always herocall me now the FD missed

i dont think he has a fd here often/ever here. the thing is that due to villain's fairly tight range, pretty much all of his fds will have either overs, be the nfd, or a straight draw (gutter/oesd). since these hands will likely always cbet flop/turn, i highly doubt villain has fd.

i would imagine all overpairs/Tx/sets/two pairs cbet flop, with 9x cbetting some to most of the time. that leaves random straight draws, pps 33-88, maybe overcards like AQ/AJ, and some 9x.

on river we beat sds, all overcards, but not pps 55-88 and some 9x.

by betting we fold out pretty much all the hands we beat, but we also fold out 55-88 quite often, and even 9x some of the time. so i think when we barrel turn we should almost always barrel this particular river.

      what'd villain end up showing?

i doubt he folds that particular hand. but i think a river bet does well to fold out most of his range there. too bad he has Q9 :(

yeah, i doubt villain has a draw. he almost definitely has a bluffcatcher

whether he folds Q9 in that spot you can't know until you bet and find out. :f_biggrin:
if he calls it's still okay for image, then add some barrels with good top pairs later

      Hello Farmarchist,

Preflop: Could 3bet it for value here as well.

      As played
Postflop: Don't really get why would you try to get him fold better hands? Whatever he has and is better than yours he ain't folding. :P Everything he folds you have him beat with AK.

      Best Regards.
