      BU 27/19/2.3/2.9/20/262 hands

whats your opinion on tripling this spot?

flop cbet seems ok with GS/over/BDFD, not sure that the board hits his BU calling range super hard either.

OTT once I bet I planned to bet most rivers since he has to fold a most one pair holdings being such a coordinated board.
I guess he could still have some sets in his range being a rainbow turn.
Maybe it would be better to triple with a flush draw on the board since he would raise his sets more often hence his calling range would be weaker.

OTR I don't think the A improves him often, also might gain me some FE from one pair hands.

      SB: $26.66 (106.6 bb)
      BB: $30.68 (122.7 bb)
      UTG: $201.60 (806.4 bb)
      MP: $25 (100 bb)
      Hero (CO): $38.26 (153 bb)
      BTN: $58.54 (234.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9 Q
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BTN calls $0.75, 2 folds

      Flop: ($1.85) 8 3 T (2 players)
Hero bets $1.20, BTN calls $1.20

      Turn: ($4.25) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.80, BTN calls $2.80

      River: ($9.85) A (2 players)
Hero bets $4.90, BTN calls $4.90

      $19.65 pot ($0.98 rake)
      Final Board: 8 3 T 7 A
Hero showed 9 Q and lost (-$9.65 net)
      BTN showed T A and won $18.67 ($9.02 net)

      Hello dannywratten,

The problem is that you are giving him pretty decent odds there to call you down. So you you really think he is willing to drop any hands whatever called you on the flop & turn? :)

      Best Regards.

Ok that makes sense. At the time i didn't think the sizing would matter that much since i assumed his range was weak & he would fold most of the time.
I agree something likt $5.60 would be better though.

Would you bet a different river? Like a 2 or 4 for example? Or just give up? His WTS is only 20% so i thought it was a good spot vs his weakish range
