If he often donks the flop, I think the call is good because your A and probably your Q could also be outs.

I wouldn't call the flop just for the gutshot. Whenever we turn our hands into "Drawing" hands only we limit ourselves to only winning the pot if we hit.

Thus I prefer to call with hands like this if I also have some showdown value (or a chance to have the best hand) or I prefer to raise them and thus give me another way to win the pot (by making villain fold).

In this case, because our AQ may be the best hand at showdown still I don't mind just calling.

However, by the turn I feel that his hand is on the weaker end, most likely a pair like Tx, 7x, 88, 99 so we can try to make that fold.

      Hello MeAmor22,

The problem on the flop is that if we assume he is doing that with weak range we wont get value on later streets. Nor we most likely ain't gonna be ahead with just Ace high that often. Therefore instead the only line to take on the flop is to either Raise it as if we assume he is donking a lot or just fold it. By calling you would need ~20+ cents to make just profitable the call, do you think you can squeeze that from him later streets?

Though on turn should be rather a fold.

      Best Regards.
