      villain is a 29/23/5.0

seems agressive reg but only got 180 hands so not sure hes a reg but decent

his fold to cbets is 57% his bet vs missed is 60%

bet flop/bet turn. if we check turn we are often faced with two barrels from competent villain. check/calling turn and check/folding river seems like burning money

well if you decide to check turn, it pretty much has to be to check/fold it, unless you have a note that villain turns worse pairs into bluffs vs weakness/villain is a maniac

Preflop: This deep we can 3-bet larger. We can expect him to call with a wider range as well.

Flop: Cbet is fine and size is also fine considering the stacks.

Turn: Ugly card for us however I would prefer to continue betting (bet/folding). I'd bet around $3.50.

Why? Because I can still get value from some hands (pairs) and not create a scenario where i have to guess/gamble a lot.
Because we aren't certain about his floating ranges or his overall play we can't really ck.
Since you assume villain is aggressive he could bluff us on two streets and then we have to turn our hand into a bluffcatcher for two streets.
So when we check we either ck/fold or ck/call two streets.
