      PokerStars - $0.05 NL - Holdem - 7 players

      BTN: $4.73
      SB: $3.33
      BB: $5.39
      Hero (UTG): $5.23
      UTG+1: $7.98
      MP: $1.96
      CO: $7.77

SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.05, CO posts DB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.12) Hero has Q:spade: Q:heart:

Hero raises to $0.25, fold, fold, CO calls $0.20, fold, fold, fold

      Flop: ($0.57, 2 players) T:diamond: 8:heart: 8:diamond:
Hero bets $0.41, CO calls $0.41

      Turn: ($1.39, 2 players) 7:diamond:
Hero checks, CO bets $1.33, fold

      CO wins $1.33

The hand pretty much talks for itself; I'm wondering if I should have bet the turn or consider myself behind most of the times. Villain was unknown.

Seems a little too weak. You'll need to have the read that he never bets TX here and turn weaker stuff into bluffs, never floats overcards and only bets straights, 8X and flushes.

I would argue that vs loose guys, especially those with really wide flop floating ranges, they could easily show up with stuff like KhJh or Ah5h or maybe even AdKx.

I don't have an answer for river play, but on blank cards you need to "feel" the situation based on bet sizing and timing tells and also his aggression and bluffing frequencies then decide on whether to call again. Would probably c/c smallish bets on River.

      Bet/fold turn.

Could bet flop higher, close to 0.50.

On the turn we could bet/fold for thin value versus floats that picked up a draw, 99, JJ.

River really depends because there are a lot of cards that would make things interesting. On most rivers we can check fold as we can't expect villain to bet many worse hands (unless it's like a complete blank, 2h type card where he could bluff missed draws or even valuebet Tx, Jx).
