      Hi, diversfx!

If I got your question correctly-yes! For sure yes! Use every advantage and read you have on your opponents. Betting patterns is a big tell. You should try to balance your betting sizing against regs, so that they can not pick a read on you.

What size hand sample would be enough to make these patterns exploitable?

Well, depends, say u see somebody raising 2.5x at bt100 with raise/calling range, but min raise/fold at bt100 with his r/f range, then make a note for the first time and if u see it again, I would assume he is doing this on purpose and would exploit it hard by re-stealing a super wide range vs his min raises. Until he re-adjusts or prove me wrong.

Postflop, vs regs, you usually need to set unexploitable non-telling betting patterns, which would be like betting less on dry boards and more on wet boards with both your value and bluff hands, so that he wouldn't be able to pick a read. Sometimes you check on wet boards of ofc, because it will hit your opponents range and you expect to get c/r a lot and stuff.
