      Hey,

In this hand villain has a huge Fcbet so the bet is profitably in a vacuum.

My question is about a general approach to this spot. Atm I see this kind of spot as a 5 outs bluff and bet, usually continuing when I hit or when something else hits and I think I can represent that.

I think x/calling sucks (always fold on the turn, but can work if we balance with strong hands which I don't do on this kind of board) and x/folding probably means that I'm defending way too little of a range here.

      Thanks

      Hey man!

Pre flop is definitely a fold, if you're opening q9s you're just simply opening too much, people are very passive and will call q10 etc and we will be oop for the rest of the hand. Even if there was a huge fish I would extend my range to q10s not q9s.

As played, on the flop I just give it up. This sizing looks pretty strong to me and even if we do decide to hero call the flop there are so many turns (hearts, 8,10,j,a) that we are just going to c/f on. Also if he folds to a cbet a lot then he probably has a good hand.

Any merit to open it with fish in the blinds?

Just a little weak, I'd expand my range to Q10s here. If really no tough regs behind then I may open if v good reads o the fish etc.

      Q8 isn't even borderline though :D
