Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

      BTN: $53 (106 bb)
      Hero (SB): $77.64 (155.3 bb)
      BB: $24.31 (48.6 bb)
      MP: $50 (100 bb)
      CO: $104.91 (209.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A K
MP folds, CO calls $0.50, BTN folds, Hero raises to $2.50, BB folds, CO calls $2

      Flop: ($5.50) A 7 J (2 players)
Hero bets $4, CO raises to $8, Hero calls $4

      Turn: ($21.50) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $10.75, Hero calls $10.75

      River: ($43) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $43, Hero folds

      Anon table.

      CO played 49/8 after 100 hands, wtsd 16, AFq F-T-R 47-55-50, raisecbetflop 18.

If we were only 100bb deep, I would have considered 3bet/broke on the flop. With 150bb I preferred potcontrol. On the turn clear ch/call to a halfpot bet.
River is ugly though... Board run out pretty bad, even flushdraw got there, and he bets huge...

Yeah, I would play like you. If he seemed more passive post flop I would not have a problem folding flop, but in that small sample he doesn't look passive at all.

      Well this is intersting..

      Pre flop is great ofc.

On the flop, 3b/broke would be too thin this deep as you said.

The turn is rpetty close, I'm not sure if he is ever bluffing here, I think we can make a relatively tight fold on the turn.

On the river I think it now actually becomes a call, he is basically only representing a flush on the river. Would he limp with hh hands? Yes probably. Would he min raise the flop? Perhaps. Would he bet the turn? Probably not. Would he pot the riveR? Probably not. Does he have the nuts? No, we have the Kh.

The story doesn't make sense to me and I think he is trying to put a false ending to it so I would call and hope to live happily ever after.

      Can we ever B/F flop?

      Epic riverstory :)

Thanks for approving of the story!

We cannot bet/fold the flop to a min raise as he could raise worse.

He may raise any Ax for perceived value and also to buy a free river card.
