Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      SB: $50 (100 bb)
      Hero (BB): $50 (100 bb)
      UTG: $49.51 (99 bb)
      MP: $43.09 (86.2 bb)
      CO: $62.90 (125.8 bb)
      BTN: $57.07 (114.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5 A
4 folds, SB raises to $2, Hero raises to $6, SB calls $4

      Flop: ($12) 2 Q K (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($12) 4 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $6, SB calls $6

      River: ($24) 7 (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero bets $12.50,

      Anon table.

SB played 25/20 on small sample.

Cbet flop, barrel turn? After he checked to me twice, and I picked up a gutshot, I started to bet at him (planned to do on river as well), to make JJ/TT/Qx to fold. Is this not credible anymore, as I checked behind on the flop?

      I would cbet that flop.

As played I think it depends on how good is opponent. Checking behind flop and betting turn and river doesn't rep much, and there's a ton of missed draws

      Hey pcfmcc02,

4x pre flop is very concerning. Is this standard? If so then good exploit and 3bet is standard, if not then I would be very concerned and proceed with very huge caution.

I would bet the flop, we get Ax to fold and we get 22-jj to fold. If he continues he alwyas has Qx + so I would just shut down. Think its a pretty easy cbet.

I prefer ^ then betting turn/river where he may be more suspicious and our story makes less sense and we are not so sure about his range. On the flop we kind find out exactly where he is.

Yeah if it is the first time, but like I said in my post above, if he does it as strandard then we should be 3betting a lot to exploit it :)
