I should have checked river or this still fine?
Should maybe also fold preflop to his 3bet, but he could have a wider range from CO.

      Hi Resilence,

I don't like calling preflop OOP because we make it very hard for ourselves postflop. Our hand can be dominated and also doesn't hit the flop often so we are forced to play more face up.

So preflop I'd prefer a fold or a 4bet (if he 3-bets a lot we can 4-bet bluff).

As played calling flop is fine and once he checks the turn we should have the best hand.

It's hard to imagine him bluffing on the river but at the same time it's hard to find many value hands in his range, unless he slowplayed AA or cbet 55/A5/65 and got lucky on the river. Based on the info you have on him do you expect him to check back hands like AK on the turn, or other slowplays? If not I wouldn't be able to fold.

Although as mentioned above the best line is fold or 4-bet preflop.
