      Considering his small donk I'd like a raise for value/protection on the flop (as you mentioned).

      As played we can raise the turn slightly bigger for value and on the river we could still bet 1/2 or less for value versus 3rd pair and the occasional 9x (since we called flop he can have random 9x hands).
