      Hi,

I would just fold preflop. You are not doing well versus his 3betting range, and even if you flop top pair you are often not doing well when several bets go in.

As played, flop is OK, i don't mind better either. He will probably call a bet on the flop with hands such as JJ-KK, certainly nothing wrong with betting. But we conceal our hand and can get some value on further streets by checking, so it's ok as well.

I like turn play, although I would bet slightly bigger. There are several draws out there, and we don't want to give him correct odds to draw.

River I would also bet. It seems unlikely we are beat, and we can definitely get some value from hands such as TT-KK or smaller pairs.

When he check/raises, I don't really see what he can have. He's repping a nine, but he can't have a lot of them. Once in a blue moon he might play 98s or K9 like this, but more often than not it's a hand that realizes you have a weak hand but can't check/call. So overall, I think you played the hand fine, barring some few betsizing points.
