      PokerStars - $0.10 NL - Holdem - 9 players

      SB: $4.98
      BB: $11.36
      Hero (UTG): $18.05
      UTG+1: $10.63 VP 16 / PR 6 (83 hands sample)
      UTG+2: $4.97
      MP: $10.20
      MP+1: $3.12
      CO: $5.85
      BTN: $8.08

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has K:club: A:heart:

Hero raises to $0.40, UTG+1 calls $0.40, fold, fold, MP+1 calls $0.40, fold, fold, fold, fold

      Flop: ($1.35, 3 players) K:heart: 8:diamond: 2:club:
      Hero bets $0.97, UTG+1 calls $0.97, fold

      Turn: ($3.29, 2 players) 9:heart:
      Hero bets $2.20, UTG+1 calls $2.20

      River: ($7.69, 2 players) A:spade:
Hero bets $4.40, UTG+1 raises to $7.06 and is all-in, Hero calls $2.66

I believe I might have played this hand very poorly (altough I can't see other way of playing it).

Flop is dry and I bet for value with TPTK. As soon as he called, the "he's got a set" alarm sounded loud and clear. In a board like this and calling from UTG+1, what the hell could he have?
Despite the alarm, I continued playing as if nothing happened. In the end, he had 22.

The question is: if I check the turn with hands like these OOP, I can easily be bluffed out of the pot and even if I call, could I call a river bet on a blank?

On the flop when we valuebet he could still call hands like KQ (some KJ/KTs) some TT-QQ and he also has AK in his range (and of course the sets).

On the turn we can still valuebet against most of these but most likely TT-QQ fold.

On the river however, a bigger scarecard comes down so can we get value from KQ/KJ/KT?

On the river, against someone like him we can either ck/fold or bet/fold something like $2 since I can't see him bluffing anything if he raises. Betting $2 will get us called by Kx most of the time.
