      well you should avoid developing such bad habits. This is a very imbalanced way of playing. If you bet a hand as weak as 55 here, it means u are 3barreling your entire range. anyone with any decent observation skills will just snap you down 3 streets with any pocket pair.

      A check on the turn is great here, cos you beat some hands like AQ which he may opt to showdown. On this runout, 2barreling is not a great idea usually cos people don't fold pocket pairs on the turn, and i only bet the turn with flush draws and 45s, with the intention of firing many rivers.
