      Pre Flop: ($0.30) Hero has 9:spade: A:spade:

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.60, BTN calls $0.60, fold, fold

Hero bets $1.00, BTN calls $1.00

      Turn: ($3.50, 2 players) 6:heart:
Hero bets $2.30, BTN calls $2.30

      River: ($8.10, 2 players) Q:diamond:

River value bet? Considering that the flash completes on the river I think check/calling a small bet is better here.

Hmmm he is 75 VPIP so he has every AX in his range. Still, I think given that the 3 other side cards are low, you are behind so many more AX hands.

      Stronger AX
      AK (maybe he 3bets), AQ AJ AT A4 A3 A6 (6 or 7)

      Weaker AX
      A2 A5 A7 A8 (4)

With AT it would be close, and with AJ you could even contemplate a thin value bet. For A9 you would basically need him to call again with a 2nd pair type of hand. So when I said 1.5 streets of value, it means that if you bet on the Turn or River again after betting the Flop, you probably need to bet half pot or maybe even smaller to get a crying call from a weaker pair than AX.

And as played, definitely c/f river.
