I'd say, if after 500k you still have a nice winrate, then your doing something right. 10k hands could just be a swing in either way IMO! But you seem to be on the right track, just stay focused while your playing and I think you'll be fine.

      Good Luck

      1. 500K?!? on the same limit?! i thought after i gain 20 stacks i can move up to the next limit, i currently play NL50 and i have the proper bankroll to play up to NL400, but my bankroll is divided into couple of poker rooms, such as FTP poker stars etc.do i really have to play THAT much in order to step up to the next level?

      2. btw i just experienced a major roller coaster in a session, played nearly 2k hands, after just 400 hands i was 8bi up , than lost it all in 1300 hands, and climbed a little up to 4 bi's. is it normal to lose 9 bi in a couple of streaks?
( btw the initial 8 bi up was not an upswing)

      thanks in advance,

I personally use 100K hands before I consider it worthy of being reliable. I suppose it has a lot to do with comfort levels and if you feel comfortable moving up, and your bankroll can support it.. then, no reason not to take shots and see how you do.

Just be prepared to move down in limits if needed.

Not once in the OP did it mention about moving limits! I never said 500k hands before you can move up!

IMO 100k hands should do it.
