I didnt play my Suited connecters for the first few months of my pokeradventure, so its still a bit new to me. Here I get called by a 37/7/1.4(30 hands) fish who I saw make some terrible plays. I see him call me down with any 8, 9 or flushdraw. How's my line? Would check/calling the turn be better for the right price?

      BTN: $3.88 (194 bb)
      SB: $1.63 (81.5 bb)
      BB: $3.73 (186.5 bb)
      UTG+2: $2 (100 bb)
      MP1: $1.87 (93.5 bb)
      MP2: $3.38 (169 bb)
      Hero (MP3): $2 (100 bb)
      CO: $2.65 (132.5 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 7:spade: 6:spade:
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, CO folds, BTN calls $0.06, 2 folds

      Flop: ($0.15) 9:diamond: 2:spade: 8:diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.10, BTN calls $0.10

      Turn: ($0.35) Q:heart: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.22, BTN calls $0.22

      River: ($0.79) 5:club: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.50, BTN calls $0.50

      Hi aktobe,

while i usually advocate a 2nd barrel here, Q or J are bad cards. Q improves JT QT QJ and that is a huge part of his flop calling range so I prefer to c/f here.

As played I just pot the River and hope he has QX.

Play them in position. You don't win money by making your decisions difficult, but by making them as simple as possible.
