Don't 3bet if you don't know whether you should push or fold when faced with a 4bet.

      When to go all-in
      1) When he 4bet bluffs enough (most important reason)
      2) When he goes all-in with worse hands (AQ, 99 etc)

      When to fold
When he doesn't bluff enough or stack off light enough

Should you even 3bet in the first place? Maybe vs some fish with very imbalanced ranges, they don't 4bet bluff at all, and everytime they 4bet your TT is crushed. But at the same time, they call a lot of worse hands all the time, Like 22-99 and AJ KQ T9s 87s etc. Then your 3bet for value is good, with the intention to fold to a 5bet.

If you are unsure about how much value you can get in the first place with a 3bet, and also unsure about the decision facing a 4bet, just fold. Save yourself all these trouble.
