Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

      Hero (MP): $65.49 (131 bb)
      CO: $24.26 (48.5 bb)
      BTN: $44.74 (89.5 bb)
      SB: $44.62 (89.2 bb)
      BB: $54.24 (108.5 bb)
      UTG: $56.19 (112.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A Q
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.50, CO folds, BTN calls $1.50, 2 folds

      Flop: ($3.75) 6 Q 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.50, BTN calls $2.50

      Turn: ($8.75) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $6, BTN raises to $12, Hero calls $6

      River: ($32.75) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $18.50, Hero calls $18.50

      Anon table.

BTN played 81/31 after 15 hands, AFq 45.

I know it's a turn raise from a huge fish, but can I fold TPTK for such odds? And if I call turn, I simply cant fold river, right?
My well-thought plan was to close my eyes, and push call-call... :)

      Hi.

The pot odds are simply irrelevant here. Villain gives you great odds to call, simply because he doesn't care. His hand is the nuts here and you are drawing dead.

I think I have gone through this spot with you many times :) you should learn to fold now.

I called in such spots all the time in the past, and I always lost 90%+ of the time. You shoud do the same.

I think TPTK like AK or AQ ist good until they call our bets. When they raise especially turn, we should ask ourselves which hands do we beat, and I think only pure bluff which doesn't happen often enough.

I think I deserved this kick in the ass... :D :f_cool:

This was the other 10% (T8o), but yeah, it doesnt matter much, I was just too result oriented (happy, proud, etc.) when I saw his crap, although I felt that in the long run it's not a good play at all...
