Do you thing calling 3 streets for value is profitable in the lond term on this spot?

I knew he was pretty agressive, I could put him on a wide range of hands even UG. KJ,JT, TT,99,88,77, were all in his range.

He could be doing the same play with AK or AQ imo.

By the river I felt he had me beat after the barrelled again.

      What do you think?

      Hi elchipriota,

Preflop: I don't mind the 3-bet but it's mostly a bluff since our hand is not that strong (at least we isolate the opponent).

Flop: We can also raise the flop here for thin value/protection but calling to let him bet is fine (although I don't know what reads we can have in 25 hands unless you seen him at showdown with garbage after being aggressive)

Turn/river: As played I'd also call down. We will see some better hands like KJ/AJ but some worse/bluffs as well.

Why do you feel you are beat on the river? We showed weakness the entire hand. So if you are beat on the river you are beat on the other streets too (not much changed other than 6x got there on the turn).

The average reg on those limits usually will shut down after the turn with nothing.

I actually played around 20 hours with villain but I had a problem with HM for the last month and I didnt have my HUD on so no info.

By the river and given how aggressive preflop and how passively I played the hand I felt I was either miles ahead or miles behind on that spot.

If I recall he had pocket 88 and he took it down.

What I am not sure though is whether his bluff range+ Jx range which is worse than my JQ will be wide enough to make the call profitable on the river.

      What do you think?
