Villain is 24/10 over 21 hands.

      Flop: C-bet w 2 overcards and a GS on two-tone board.

Turn: He bets so small that I only need 10% equity for my outs. I put him on 2nd pair, 3rd pair or some kind of draw like 98, J9-J8 or even pair+GS.

River: His small bet is very irritating, the 8s is really bad as he might have hit 2pair or even a flush which is still a possibility. So I just fold. I thought, I might raise on the river against a blank to push him off his hand. However this is NL5 and he might not even fold.

So as played, was it okay to call his turn bet to try and hit my outs? And then go for a cheap showdown if I hit them.

      Hi Cheekopeh,

      Preflop: looks fine.

Flop: Cbet is fine with our hand but we can expect to get called a lot.

Turn: If you consider his bet's weak we can also ck/raise as a semi-bluff here to put pressure on his weaker hands.

That may also buy us a free showdown if we wanted one.
