Thoughts about my line here? Unsure about calling the raise on the flop (but i think its fine), his minraise on the turn looks quite strong but i figure he can have flushdraws overpairs etc. here as well as the bad stuff (FH and better 9x hands).

      Cheers

      Hi.

While I'm not folding, you should recognize that your hand is a bluff catcher to some extent. I don't see many worse 9X hands he could have besides 97s. All other 9s have you beat, 98 J9 Q9 A9 K9. So I call his raise again and hope he bluffs the River and I would just call again.

Shoving just isolates yourself against 9X a lot, and we are in position with a hand that is WAY AHEAD or WAY BEHIND. Really no need to shove your stack in. We wanna let him bluff and if he checks river we can just shove ourselves.

Mmmm I thought this might be the case. For some reason I got it in my head that his range could include a lot of big overpairs or something, but yeah the case 9 is probably a bigger part of the range.
