Villain is 74/58/40 (3bet) over just 20 hands, but is continuously just min-3betting from his blinds.

That's the reason I called, because I was getting great odds and would have position. The minbets were just so weak I decided to call it down with second pair top kicker, because he could easily have weaker 5x, random Ax, or some other kind of air here.

Is this fine against this kind of player?

      Hi Tino,

Preflop: looks fine. Can't really 4bet and we get a good price to play IP

Flop: Raising flop turns our hand into a small bluff unless he is a huge station so calling is fine.

As played I'd also call down and we at least learn something about villain with a good chance to have the best hand.

In my opinion it is fine to call down these minbets. The odds until turn are great, you will earn some value if improved and you can get some kind of information on the river about this type of player. On the other hand, if his bets were a little bigger i would fold; these little, loose, nevermind calls may sum up to a couple of buy-ins in the end of the month.
