      Hi Dracsharp,

Preflop: 4-bet size as a bluff is too small. I'd make it at least 22-24 BB. And i wouldn't 4-bet bluff hands that don't have blockers. Why do you think that is?

As played we can take one stab on the turn with our combo draw but once called we can fold.

Well i was scratching my head for a long time writing and trying to figure it, never really thought about making a difference between my cards between bluff 3/4 bet, but while pp/sc make good cards following Axs for bluff 3bets especially when villian calls with a wider range containing less Ax like co vs bu, while 3 bets get called and superior postflop equity gets utilized, in 4 bets not so much mostly ending in shove or a fold making A2o a better choice right away.

      Do i get it ? :)

I think you are on the right track.

Let's assume villain only shoves/continues with this range:

      JJ+, AK

      Now lets say we 78ss

Number of combinations for above range: 6*4+16 = 40

Now lets say we hold A9s

      Number of combinations for above range: 6*3 + 3 + 12 = 33

So see what happens? The chance that he holds a "good" hand has been reduced.
