      Is he also 3betting a lot against you specifically? Make sure to not get fooled by people's average thinking that's what they do against you as a standard as well.

      If the stats are right I think you can consider 4betting as well. I don't know his range to 3bet/5bet here but his 3bet percentage is what you see from people when they play vs BU. It's basically huge. If you don't open wide in UTG you exploit him by default with your strong hands so you don't have to go into a spewy 3bet/4bet/5bet game with him.

      Moving on from this, I think 99 is good enough to call but you need to be quite confident in your postflop approach against him. Furthermore, if he 3bets with a depolarized range (with many high cards) you sort of have to give up often, problem being that he barrels with very high frequency. If he does that on boards that hit his range, there's nothing you can really do about it.

      In this specific hand I think calling flop is OK and then fold the turn. Your FD is not good, he has AK, AQ, AA, QQ, flushes in his range already and if you call here you can expect a river shove a high percentage of the time.
