[NL2-NL10] NL2 Q4s vs minraise

      Villain is 76/16 fishy fish.

Maybe a loose call on the min-raise here, not sure. But I have position so don't mind too much.

I hit top pair lousy kicker and get checked to, I figure this board is ok to bet here, and that I probably have most of his huge range beat. His min-raise here is pretty odd so I just call it. He bets into me turn and river. If the bets were much bigger I probably would have folded here. But since particularly the river bet was so small I figure I was getting decent odds.

But maybe I played it terribly.

Party, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 9 Players

      Hero (BTN): $2.95 (147.5 bb)
      MP1: $1.98 (99 bb)
      SB: $1.93 (96.5 bb)
      MP2: $2.21 (110.5 bb)
      BB: $2 (100 bb)
      CO: $0.70 (35 bb)
      UTG+2: $2 (100 bb)
      MP3: $1.71 (85.5 bb)
      UTG+1: $2.24 (112 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with Q 4
      UTG+1 raises to $0.04, 5 folds, Hero calls $0.04, 2 folds

      Flop: ($0.11) T T Q (2 players)
      UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $0.07, UTG+1 raises to $0.14, Hero calls $0.07

      Turn: ($0.39) 2 (2 players)
      UTG+1 bets $0.14, Hero calls $0.14

      River: ($0.67) 8 (2 players)
      UTG+1 bets $0.14, Hero calls $0.14

      $0.95 pot ($0.04 rake)
      Final Board: T T Q 2 8
      Hero showed Q 4 and won $0.91 ($0.45 net)
      UTG+1 showed 8 A and lost (-$0.46 net)

I would fold this hand preflop. You has position, but you has a weak kicker and if a Q comes and he raised you, you are in trouble.

As played, I would also contibet the flop but against this raise I would fold. What do you think is his range after this check/raise?

      Hi Knyght,

Preflop: Even though it's a min raise he still opens UTG. Q4s is not the greatest hand and I wouldn't have a problem folding it with the limited info we have.

Flop: Normally against passive fishy players we should play bet/fold.
This guy seems no different so I would play the same.

He is unknown to us, fishy and possibly passive and he min ck/raises as the UTG PFR. I'd be willing to let my hand go no problem.

As played we can call down his small bets but as mentioned above I'm not a huge fan of that.
