      Hi Dracsharp,

      Preflop: looks fine

      Flop: Calling is fine.

Turn: We pick up a pair to go with our hand and it's a card that villain can bluff on so I like our call (although he is a bit passive so i wouldn't call a river bet unless we improve).

River: Considering he is passive on the river I think he won't bet many hands except weaker flushes, AK, 4x, boats. Everything else, mostly Ax checks back.

So we either bet to try to keep Ax paying or ck and try to get max value against AK, 4x, Flushes.

Which of the two parts do you think he has more off? Ax or AK/4x/flushes?

      Flop turn betting range
      KK+,44,A9s+,JhTh,Th9h,9h8h,8h7h,7h6h,6h5h,ATo+

      River half pot calling range
      AKs,JhTh,Th9h,9h8h,8h7h,7h6h,6h5h,AKo

I predict we blockbet flushes and ak and the chance of even aq calling on this very nasty board is low

      Shove
      KK+,44

River Betting range when checked to
      KK+,44,AKs,JhTh,Th9h,9h8h,8h7h,7h6h,6h5h,AKo

      Calls a shove possibly all

My reason to do it was, that i doubt Aq- would call and he is passive possibly takes blockbet with hands i beat and shoves better, but calling a shove with them is more likely then shoving with them

We might bet so small that every ax calls and every value hand raises which is even better for us because he will be more committed, just we have to make sure that it never blocks his raises, possibly 1/5-1/4 pot /push

The line you took is based entirely on him being able to valuebet hands like Ax (which btw all split with other Ax).

I personally feel that villain will check back all Ax and only bet the stronger part of his range. Since Ax is usually a good chunk and since all Ax split on this board I can't see him folding if you bet 2/3 pot or so.
